All three Shining Wind books are excellent. Shining Tears X Wind has a bunch of
full color pictures and a poster, character profiles, episode guide and
commentary at the end. Very nice book. Shining Tears Collection Of Visual
Materials has less full color pictures but makes up for it with the line
drawings. An excellent book too. Shining Wind Collection Of Visual Materials has
a bunch of full page color pictures and equals the other two in quality. I'm
glad I bought them.
I received Chronicle while I was away at work. Suzuhira Hiro just shot up to the
top five of my favorite artists. What an excellent book!
Soul Link comes with a plastic sleeve to protect the book. A very nice touch.
The book does have quite a few full page images and a few done by guest
illustrators. I'm not disappointed in the book except for the same reason I have
for every book I've bought. I wish there was more. Would I recommend it? I most
certainly would. It does have a poster inside, character profile, story line,
even music sheets and line drawings. It is based off the game more than the
anime so there is hentai in it. But baring that it's a high quality
book.

Let's see, I like to draw because when I am looking at a blank piece of paper
with a pencil at hand, I feel like I have all the powers in the world to turn
this blank piece paper into a colorful world. At the same time, it's a away for
me to escape from reality, so I can find peace.
I like water color the most because the colors blends so naturally on the paper.

slightly modified version of the original scan. This was a first bad impression

Some parts are really bright and blurry ; they hide a lot of details of the scan

original eyes.
I think the scenery and the emotion carried by the original scan are nothing but
common and nothing but just a "trendy" illustration.
I also really don't understand which light source you wanted to give to your
wall. There is a diagonal line on the right which separates the dark and
lightened parts ; it doesn't look really natural as just on its left there is a
super bright zone encapsulating all the top left part of the illustration. To my
eyes, it's a mistake to have so many different light sources ; it makes
difficult to focus on and to understand the whole scenery. It even enforces the
impression that there are different parts in the wallpaper.
The skin of the character is a good example of the presence of different parts
of your wall. Her arms are somehow between dark green and dark blue, while her
face is not at all of the same color. This is not really homogeneous.
Besides all these negative points, i think that your texture looks quite nice
when applied to the roses garden and the shiny particles also do their jobs at
making the scenery a bit more "magical".
I hope that you will accept my remarks , i tried to be as objective as i could
and i hope it won't make you angry to receive this kind of
criticism.
First of all, I want to thank you for the objective criticism. I'm not upset and
I understand there's a lot to work on concerning this wallpaper.
It didn't look too bright on my monitor (some parts were actually difficult to
see because of the contrast), so I apologize for different lighting spots. That
didn't happen because I wanted it to, it was a mistake.
In the end, I just wanted to try making a textured wallpaper once again but I
suppose I'll limit myself to vectored ones, since textured ones aren't that
good. I'll keep your advice in mind next time I make a wallpaper. Thank you once

is messed up right now and Akadot is in the US. Well they are Shining Tears and
Wind but they have most of the same characters in them. I just collectively call
them all Shining Wind.

illustration from Suzuhira Hiro recently , and there was a piano score going
with it. As i'm quite curious and as i wanted to show it to my friend Fenafir
here on MT, i tried to play the score with a bass. I think the result is quite

now i don't need the watchlist thing to remember browsing your gallery *
I so know what you mean. I have a hard time finding friends that have the save
passion for art and manga in real life. I think that's one of the reaons why I
stayed as well. I thought about leave MT a few time because I like to explore
new artists and style while things here are just so typical. But I learned to
cope with it as well as all the friends I have here.
I actually like the way how you think. Everyone has their own perspective and
thought about a piece of art. I think that's what art is meant to be, it's for
us to imagine what's behind the image in front of us, so we can create many
different stories.
I think my gallery has transformed many time since the day I started MT. My
standard has definitely been raised. I use to submit a lot of yaoi novel and
mange scans I found around websites. But over the pass a year or two, I started
to get into chinese artists. Their style is very distinct from Japanses art. I
think you can say water colors do represent a chinese way of drawing. But there
are some nice CG artists as well (you should check out Benjamin's gallery here
on MT, he's an interesting CG artist)
I really like drawing. But now, the only time I do get to draw is during a
boring lecture.
Actually I am very interested in classical music right now. The music is really
nice. I really like the beginning and especially your compositions(00:52 to
1:33), I think it tied it up really well and gave an almost a climax to the
piece. Well done. I wish I have music genes in me.

First of all, I want to thank you for the objective criticism. I'm not upset and I understand there's a lot to work on concerning this wallpaper.
It didn't look too bright on my monitor (some parts were actually difficult to see because of the contrast), so I apologize for different lighting spots. That didn't happen because I wanted it to, it was a mistake.
In the end, I just wanted to try making a textured wallpaper once again but I suppose I'll limit myself to vectored ones, since textured ones aren't that good. I'll keep your advice in mind next time I make a wallpaper. Thank you once again for your advice and hope you have a good day

beNippon is in Japan, Nippon Exports moved to Europe recently and their website is messed up right now and Akadot is in the US. Well they are Shining Tears and Wind but they have most of the same characters in them. I just collectively call them all Shining Wind.
I also ordered this but it's difficult to get a hold of. Hiro Suzuhira Illustrations: Chronicle I ordered it from here. http://www.akadotretail.com/product_info.php?products_id=25226 and unfortunately it's back ordered. So I have to wait until it becomes available again, if it does. She's another artist I do like and I do like quite a few. Some I will go out of my way to get books from.

I haven't seen any more of his posts, I went through his scans and I didn't see anymore of mine but I don't think all of them were shown. Seems that 700+ scans would take up more pages than I looked through. I guess I'll have to go through all the galleries eventually ... that'll take time

Part of it is due to exams and the other is laziness. :P Don't worry, I haven't given up on it yet.
I went and checked and found 5 scans of mine there non of them by V1046-R, it was some one else so I assume either some one else complained or V1046-R takes a lot from MT not just from me but from everyone. I wonder what his name is here? Anyway, thanks again for the info, I appreciate it
I so know what you mean. I have a hard time finding friends that have the save passion for art and manga in real life. I think that's one of the reaons why I stayed as well. I thought about leave MT a few time because I like to explore new artists and style while things here are just so typical. But I learned to cope with it as well as all the friends I have here.
I actually like the way how you think. Everyone has their own perspective and thought about a piece of art. I think that's what art is meant to be, it's for us to imagine what's behind the image in front of us, so we can create many different stories.
I think my gallery has transformed many time since the day I started MT. My standard has definitely been raised. I use to submit a lot of yaoi novel and mange scans I found around websites. But over the pass a year or two, I started to get into chinese artists. Their style is very distinct from Japanses art. I think you can say water colors do represent a chinese way of drawing. But there are some nice CG artists as well (you should check out Benjamin's gallery here on MT, he's an interesting CG artist)
I really like drawing. But now, the only time I do get to draw is during a boring lecture.
Actually I am very interested in classical music right now. The music is really nice. I really like the beginning and especially your compositions(00:52 to 1:33), I think it tied it up really well and gave an almost a climax to the piece. Well done. I wish I have music genes in me.
